Overview
Silicone pads with backlighting form the face of this small drum controller, which sends MIDI over USB to a computer or iPad. A pair of faders and knobs adjust sounds, and a MIDI cable and software package are included.
Sixteen pads cover a drum rack, and the courses help a newer player learn. A silicone surface and no weight in the listing make some points uncertain.
Who it's for
Home beat makers and students learning music production get pads, faders and tutorials together. Players who want keys or a self-contained drum machine should choose a different device.
