Overview
Swinging through long cage sessions is what the Blacksmith glove is made for, with a leather wrap style inspired by workman's gloves. Padding and a hook closure complete the glove, and it is made for an adult hitter.
The leather build and full wrap cover aim at toughness for heavy cage use, and the listing ties the design to wrist strength at the plate. Care is hand wash only, which asks a little more effort. Only one size and color are shown.
Who it's for
An adult hitter who wants a padded leather glove with a secure closure for practice and games. Youth players and anyone who needs a size other than small should look at different listings.
Pros and cons
- Padded for impact
- Full wrap coverage
- Hand wash only
- Only adult small shown
- Palm thickness not listed
Performance notes
Leather grips the bat handle and stands up to repeated friction, while padding takes some of the shock from contact. A hook closure sets how snug the glove fits on the wrist, and the wrap style adds coverage around the hand.
