Overview
The Patikil pta230425tt0508 is a sheath sized for an 8 inch knife, with an ABS handle component and an overall length of 8.7 inches. It is built to carry and protect a blade rather than to cut.
Unlike some tools miscategorized under sheath listings, this Patikil item is genuinely a knife sheath, sized to match an 8 inch blade. The ABS material noted in the specs points to a rigid plastic build rather than leather or fabric, which usually means a more structured fit and easier wipe-down cleaning. At 8.7 inches overall, it leaves a small margin beyond the stated 8 inch blade size for handle clearance.
- Fits 8 inch blades
- 8.7 inch overall length
- ABS plastic construction
- Rigid, molded design
Who it's for
Fits owners of an 8 inch fixed-blade knife who want a rigid, molded sheath rather than a soft carry option. Not a match for knives outside that length.
Pros and cons
- Rigid ABS build resists punctures
- Sized specifically for 8 inch blades
- Fit is size-specific to 8 inch knives
- No belt clip or strap mentioned
Performance notes
ABS is a hard, impact-resistant plastic, so this sheath should hold its shape better than a soft fabric sheath and resist punctures from the blade edge. The 8.7 inch overall length against an 8 inch blade size suggests a close fit with limited room for handle bulk, so checking exact knife dimensions before buying matters.
