Overview
An ultrasonic plate turns water into fine mist while a dual-fan system spreads it in this Vornado tabletop humidifier. An amber textured tank, gunmetal and copper accents and a separate candle-like light make it a decor piece as well.
Design and a light that runs on its own let it work as a lamp and a humidifier at once. A small tank limits it to one modest room and frequent refills.
Who it's for
Design-minded buyers adding moisture to a bedroom, office or study get a quiet, filterless unit with ambient light. People humidifying an open floor plan should choose a larger console unit.
Pros and cons
- Filterless, no wicks to buy
- Light works with mist off
- Low water indicator
- Very low power use
- Small tank needs frequent refills
- Sized for one room
- Certified for U.S. use only
Performance notes
Ultrasonic units vibrate water into mist without heat, so output depends on fan speed and tank volume. The dual fans push mist away from the unit to spread it more evenly. Mineral-heavy tap water can leave white dust, which filterless designs do not trap.
