Yaheetech Cactus Cat Tree 42 in

Overview

This is a 42 inch cactus shaped cat tree from Yaheetech, with four levels including a ball toy, plush perch, platform and basket, built for indoor cats. It uses a particleboard frame wrapped in moppy fabric and plush, with sisal covered posts for scratching. Suits multi cat households or single cats wanting a dedicated climbing and resting structure.

The cactus shape is largely aesthetic, but the functional pieces are standard cat tree elements: sisal wrapped posts for scratching, a plush perch and basket for resting, and a hanging ball for play. At 19.18 pounds and floor mounted, it is meant to stand on its own without wall anchoring, though four levels on a single base means stability depends on a level floor. It carries a 3 year manufacturer warranty and is listed as spot clean only.

• 42 inch height
• 4 climbing levels
• Sisal, plush and moppy fabric materials
• 3 year manufacturer warranty

Who it's for

Fits indoor cat owners across all life stages wanting a multi level tree that combines scratching, climbing and resting in one piece of furniture. Households needing a compact tree for tight spaces may find 42 inches and a 17 x 17 inch footprint too large.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The sisal wrapped posts give cats a rough surface to scratch against, which also anchors the climbing structure between levels. Because the unit is floor mounted rather than wall secured, its stability on four levels comes down to a level, firm floor under the base.
