Overview
This LiXiongBao countertop faucet filter uses activated carbon filtration and ships as a 2-pack, built from ABS plastic with chrome accents. It suits buyers wanting a low cost, tool free filter that attaches directly to a kitchen faucet.
Activated carbon faucet filters like this one target chlorine taste, odor and some sediment, though they do not match the contaminant range of a reverse osmosis system. The model name points to a multi stage filter core, but the listing itself does not spell out what each stage removes.
- Activated carbon filtration
- Countertop install
- 2-pack
- ABS plastic and chrome construction
Who it's for
Renters and buyers who want a countertop, tool free filter attachment rather than an under sink install. Not for anyone wanting certified contaminant reduction, since no NSF or similar certification is listed here.
Pros and cons
- Tool free countertop installation
- Lower price point than under sink systems
- No NSF or third party certification listed
- Lower rating than comparable filters in this category
- No filter lifespan or gallon rating given
Performance notes
Activated carbon filtration works by adsorbing chlorine, some organic compounds, and odor causing particles as water passes through, which improves taste without removing the broader range of contaminants an RO system would. No certification is listed for this unit, so its filtration claims rest on the carbon media type alone rather than third party testing.
