Overview
An inflatable hot tub for 5 to 7 people that heats water up to 104 degrees F with 180 massage jets. Suits homeowners who want spa nights on a patio or in a yard without a fixed installation, not year-round subzero climates.
Coleman's SaluSpa line trades a hard shell for an inflatable DuraPlus liner, so setup is a pump and a hose rather than a contractor. It is not rated to run below 39 degrees F, so it suits three-season use in most climates rather than a true winter spa.
- 314-gallon capacity at 80 percent fill
- 180 bubble jets, heat range 40-104 degrees F
- 85 x 85 x 28 inch footprint
- Ships with cover, pump, chemical floater, 2 filters, repair patch
Who it's for
Renters and homeowners who want the hot tub experience without built-in plumbing, and families who will use it several times a week rather than as a rare treat. Not a fit for anyone expecting fast reheating, quiet operation, or the pressure of a hard-shell spa.
Pros and cons
- Full setup and heating handled by one pump unit
- Fits 4 people comfortably, up to 7 for a soak
- DuraPlus material rated more puncture and stretch resistant than plain PVC
- Freeze Shield protects internals in cold weather
- Loses heat quickly without the upgraded thermal cover
- Massage jets cycle off after about 30 minutes
- Inflatable cover reported to lose air and need re-pumping
- Occasional reports of a used or leaking unit arriving
