Overview
A 71 inch round inflatable hot tub from SunSwell built around 120 bubble jets and a 600W motor, with a child-safety locking cover and GFCI-protected controls. The maker lists it as sized for 4 people, with room for up to 6.
SunSwell pairs the usual inflatable-spa bubble jets with a couple of safety-focused details: GFCI protection on the electrical side and a child-safety lock on the insulated cover, which also helps keep debris out and heat in. A built-in, removable filtration system is meant to handle ongoing water upkeep without a separate filter unit.
- 120 bubble jets driven by a 600W motor
- GFCI-protected electrical system
- Insulated cover with child-safety lock
- Built-in removable filtration system
Who it's for
Works for a household wanting an affordable, quickly set-up soak for a family group, with the safety lock a plus where kids are around the yard. Less suited to anyone wanting a rigid, permanent hot tub feel.
Pros and cons
- GFCI protection on the electrical system
- Child-safety lock on the insulated cover
- Built-in removable filtration for ongoing water care
- Inflates from a standard power outlet in a few minutes
- Title lists 4-person seating while the description claims up to 6, so comfortable capacity may run smaller than the higher figure suggests
- Inflatable PVC needs more careful handling than a rigid shell
Performance notes
The 600W motor drives 120 bubble jets and heats water toward 104degF, with the insulated, locking cover helping the unit hold that temperature between uses. A built-in filtration system runs continuously to keep water quality up between full changes. Setup is meant to be a matter of connecting to a standard outlet and letting the pump inflate the tub.
