Overview
Not just a holding pen, the DIGGS Evolv is a slim modular crate meant to double as indoor furniture. Doors can be repositioned around the frame, a ceiling panel lifts out, and dual lock doors pair with diamond-shaped mesh that guards against pinched paws and jaws.
Safety detailing earns its place here: diamond mesh, rounded corners and finger-friendly dual locks are designed against pinching and entrapment. Its weak spot is what the listing leaves out, with no material, weight or warranty given, and the Small size covers mid-weight breeds, so measure the dog first.
Who it's for
Medium breeds such as Bulldogs and Whippets in a home where the crate stays in view suit the Evolv. Owners of giant breeds, or anyone needing a travel crate, should look at other sizes or designs.
Pros and cons
- Doors can be repositioned to fit the room
- Diamond mesh guards paws and jaws
- Rounded corners, no sharp edges
- Finger-friendly dual lock doors
- Ships with 2 doors, not all 4
- Material, weight and warranty not listed
- Not compatible with the DIGGS Snooz
- Bed and bowl are separate accessories
Performance notes
Containment rests on the dual lock doors and the diamond-shaped mesh, which is shaped to avoid openings where paws and jaws could catch. Fit depends on the dog's standing height and weight against the size chart, since a crate that is too tight limits lying down and turning. Door placement governs how the crate works in a corner or along a wall.
