Overview
The recteq 810021996165 is a pellet-fed smoker with a stainless steel body finished in black. It runs on wood pellets rather than propane or charcoal, feeding fuel automatically from a hopper into the firebox.
Recteq builds its lineup around pellet smokers with automated fuel feed, which is the main appeal here over a manual charcoal or gas unit. The listing does not include hopper capacity, temperature range, or WiFi control details, so confirm those directly with recteq before assuming catering-scale output.
- Pellet fuel type
- Stainless steel construction
- Black finish
- Recteq automated feed system
Who it's for
Fits home cooks who want a smoker that manages its own fuel feed rather than one they tend by hand. Less suited to buyers who need a confirmed hopper size or temperature range spelled out before purchase, since neither appears in the available data.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel body resists rust better than painted steel
- Pellet fuel removes the need to manage a propane tank or loose charcoal
- No temperature range listed
- No hopper capacity given
- No cooking area figure to judge capacity
Performance notes
Pellet smokers hold steady heat by auguring wood pellets from a hopper into a firebox on a timer, which is what lets them run unattended for stretches instead of needing constant vent adjustments. That mechanism is the main reason to pick this over a charcoal unit, though the listing gives no hopper size or burn-time figures to size it against a specific cook.
