Overview
This 2-pack toilet flapper replacement fits Gerber 99-788 and other 3-inch flush valve toilets, pairing a rubber flapper with two spare toilet handle chains.
The listing title leads with Gerber, but the part is a compatible replacement built to the same 3-inch opening spec as the 99-788 rather than an OEM Gerber component. At 4.9 by 3.66 inches, the flapper matches the same size spec used by other 3-inch replacements in this category.
- Fits 3-inch flush valve openings
- 2-pack with 2 spare chains
- Compatible with Gerber 99-788
- 4.9 x 3.66 in rubber flapper
Who it's for
Owners of a Gerber 99-788 or other confirmed 3-inch flush valve toilet who want a spare flapper on hand. It does not fit 2-inch valve toilets.
Pros and cons
- Two-pack leaves a spare on hand
- Includes two replacement chains
- One buyer's flapper leaked again after about three months
- Another received a slightly misshapen unit
Performance notes
The rubber flapper seals against a 3-inch flush valve seat, with two toilet handle chains included so a spare is on hand if the first one needs adjusting or fails.
