Overview
A premixing chamber blends detergent and water before they reach the drum in this Electrolux laundry tower, which stacks a front load washer over a gas dryer. Touch controls set the cycles, and the dispenser doses detergent to the load.
Full-size capacity in one tall unit suits closets and laundry rooms with a gas supply. The listing gives only a short feature list, so cycle details need checking.
Who it's for
Households with gas laundry hookups who want floor space back get full-size loads in one column. Homes with electric-only hookups need the electric version of a tower.
Pros and cons
- Washer and dryer in one footprint
- Detergent premixing for deeper clean
- Adaptive dosing dispenser
- Energy Star certified
- Requires a gas supply
- Very heavy to install
- Few cycle names listed
Performance notes
Premixed detergent spreads evenly through the load, which helps on heavy soil without extra product. Adaptive dosing meters detergent from the compartments, so results depend on keeping them filled.
