Overview
Not a chain-hung bag, this Everlast Nevatear hangs from a dual strap system with a swivel mount. A mounted D-ring and panel secure it and limit movement, and reinforced straps carry the filled weight.
The strap system is described as quieter than a chain, and the fill gives a firm strike surface. The description lists two carabiners and a swivel, while the components field lists only the bag. Ceiling hardware is not included.
Who it's for
An adult boxer or martial artist with a secure ceiling or stand mount who wants less chain noise. Apartment users without a rated hanging point should look at freestanding bags instead.
Pros and cons
- Quieter dual strap system
- Swivel mount for easy hanging
- Mounted D-ring and panel
- Faux leather outer
- Needs a rated mount
- Contents listed two ways
- Heavy to move
Performance notes
Straps replace chains, so the bag swings with less clank, and the swivel lets it rotate when struck. The D-ring and panel limit movement, while the fiber and sand fill sets how hard the bag feels. A secure mount is essential.
