Overview
O'Brien built the Pillar as a towable tube that seats up to four riders. Because the seating allows facing in or out, kneeling or sitting, riders can swap places for a different ride.
The Pillar is made for groups who want to rock back and forth together behind a boat. A Quick Connect tow hook handles the tow line. Weight capacity and size are listed, but no cleaning or storage guidance is given.
Who it's for
A boat day with several teens or adults sharing one tube is the setup this suits. Younger riders or a single rider would be better served by another tube.
Pros and cons
- Seats four riders
- Several seating positions
- Quick Connect tow hook
- Nylon cover material
- Teen age range listed
- Cleaning and storage steps not given
Performance notes
Riders shift between facing in, facing out, kneeling and sitting, which changes how the tube moves behind the boat. The tow hook ties the tube to the boat line, and the tube shape lets the group sway together.
