Overview
A budget hunting rangefinder that measures 5 to 900 yards with angle compensation for uphill and downhill shots. It has 6x magnification, switches between yards and meters, and runs on 2 AAA batteries.
- Measures 5 to 900 yards with angle compensation
- 6x magnification optical lens
- Switches between yards and meters
- Powered by 2 AAA batteries, not included
Who it's for
Fits bow hunters and farm or ranch use where you need a quick, affordable distance check rather than a premium optic. Less suited to buyers who need laboratory grade precision or who already own a high-end rangefinder and are looking to upgrade.
Pros and cons
- One experienced optics user considered it recreational grade rather than professional
- 6x magnification is modest compared to higher-end rangefinders
Performance notes
The angle range compensation is what makes this useful for hunters rather than just golfers or hikers, since it adjusts the yardage reading for the shot angle instead of giving flat line of sight distance.
