Overview
Nike built this Academy ball with a thin PU skin over multi-foam backing for a soft touch and steady flight. The design carries the EPL theme, and it is meant for training and play on synthetic or natural grass.
Players get a soft-feel training ball that handles both turf types. Conflicting panel details and missing care information make it a less clear-cut listing.
Who it's for
Training sessions and casual matches suit this ball. Official matches requiring certification call for a match ball.
Pros and cons
- Foam backing softens touch
- Works on turf and grass
- Wear and weather resistant
- Premier League themed design
- Panel count listed inconsistently
- No pump or extras included
- Warranty details missing
Performance notes
Touch comes from the PU outer over foam backing, which cushions contact on passes and shots. Shape retention depends on the panel construction holding pressure over time.
