Overview
Not a smart WiFi washer with an app, this LG is a knob controlled front loader with a direct drive motor and a stainless drum. It runs a set list of programs, including a quick cycle and a cold wash.
A big drum, high spin and a quick cycle cover most family laundry without extra features to learn. The listing lacks dimensions, weight and warranty, all of which matter when measuring a laundry space.
Who it's for
Households doing regular full loads who prefer a dial to a touchscreen. Buyers who need to check fit in a tight closet will have to find the dimensions elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Large drum for bedding
- High spin removes more water
- Cold wash option
- Direct drive motor
- Dimensions and weight not listed
- Warranty not stated
- Single compartment dispenser
Performance notes
Wash action comes from the direct drive motor varying drum motion for different fabrics. A high spin speed pulls more water out, which shortens drying. Cold wash relies on the drum motion to compensate for lower water temperature.
