Overview
Gaming at higher frame rates and streaming Dolby Vision on Google TV is what this TCL QLED handles, with quantum dot color and local dimming behind the panel. It mounts on a VESA bracket or stands on its included feet.
Full HDR format support with local dimming and VRR gives strong features for a mid range TV. Brightness is modest for sunny rooms, and only three HDMI inputs limit multi console setups.
Who it's for
Living rooms with mixed streaming and casual gaming suit this TV. Sun filled rooms and HDR purists need a brighter panel.
Pros and cons
- Local dimming for deeper blacks
- All major HDR formats
- VRR and Auto Game Mode
- Google TV with voice control
- Modest peak brightness
- Only three HDMI inputs
- Limited dimming zone count
Performance notes
Local dimming zones darken parts of the backlight behind dark areas, improving contrast over edge lit sets. Quantum dots widen the color range. VRR syncs the panel to the console frame rate to cut tearing.
