Overview
Canidae's Pure Goodness Protein Topper is a wild salmon wet food topper packed in gravy, sold as a case of 3 oz pouches meant to spoon over a dog's regular meal. It's grain-free with a limited-ingredient list built around wild-caught salmon.
Canidae positions this as an add-on rather than a full diet, aimed at boosting protein, flavor and hydration at mealtime. The limited-ingredient, grain-free formula is also pitched at dogs with food sensitivities, though Canidae doesn't specify which allergens it avoids beyond grain.
- Wild-caught salmon in gravy
- Grain-free, limited ingredient
- 3 oz pouches, case of 12
- Suitable for all life stages
Who it's for
Good for owners who want to make a picky eater's kibble more appealing or add moisture and protein without switching foods entirely. It's a supplement, not a replacement, so it isn't for owners looking for a complete meal.
Pros and cons
- Grain-free, limited-ingredient formula suits sensitive dogs
- Wild-caught salmon as the named protein
- Works across all life stages
- Adds moisture as well as flavor
- Meant as a topper or treat, not a full meal
- Small 3 oz pouch size means frequent restocking for daily use
Performance notes
Each pouch is shredded salmon in broth, meant to be spooned onto dry food to add moisture and scent that encourages eating. Canidae markets it for all life stages, so it can go on a puppy's or senior's bowl alike.
