Overview
The SOCO automatic ball launcher ships with 15 orange 2-inch tennis balls and a mesh storage bag, offering three throw distance settings of 10, 20, or 30 feet for small and medium dogs. It's USB rechargeable rather than plug-in, so it can run cordless indoors or outdoors.
At about 1.97 kilograms and roughly 10.8 by 10.1 by 8.4 inches, it's built lightweight and portable per the listing, with a USB charging cable included alongside the balls and mesh bag. Compared to launchers that include only a few balls, the 15-ball set means fewer trips to collect and reload during a session.
- 15 included 2-inch balls with mesh storage bag
- 3 throw distance settings: 10, 20, or 30 ft
- USB rechargeable, cordless operation
- Lightweight, portable build for indoor or outdoor use
Who it's for
Best for owners of small or medium dogs who want longer independent play sessions without frequently refilling the launcher, and who prefer a cordless design they can move around the yard rather than one tied to an outlet. It is not built with large dogs in mind.
Pros and cons
- 15 balls included, more than many competing launchers
- Three selectable throw distances
- USB rechargeable, no need to stay near an outlet
- Comes with a mesh bag for ball storage
- Not rated water resistant for outdoor use in wet conditions
- Battery runtime between charges isn't specified
- Built for small and medium dogs only
Performance notes
The three fixed distance settings of 10, 20, or 30 feet give more defined control over throw range than a single adjustable dial, useful for matching the launcher to a smaller room versus an open yard. Because it's USB rechargeable rather than corded, runtime depends on battery charge rather than a constant power source, which the listing doesn't specify in hours.
