Last refreshed Jun 30, 2026 · Based on the Amazon listing and published specifications, not hands-on testing.
A reasonable pick for a food-topper approach to dental care, with real reports of fresher breath, though it lives or dies on whether your dog accepts the kelp taste.

Overview
ProDen PlaqueOff Scoopables are hickory smoked bacon flavored dental bites for small and medium dogs, built around natural Scandinavian kelp rather than a brushing action, sold in a 45-scoop container with a measuring scoop included.
Unlike bristled dental chews that scrape plaque off mechanically, this product works through kelp's natural chemistry, and can be added to food or given as a standalone bite rather than chewed thoroughly. That makes it an easy fit for dogs who resist toothbrushing, though the kelp flavor itself is the biggest variable in whether a dog accepts it at all.
- 45-scoop container sized for small and medium breeds
- Kelp sourced from the Scandinavian coastline
- Hickory smoked bacon flavor
- No added fragrance or dye listed
Who it's for
Owners of small to medium dogs who already eat treats readily and want a low-effort daily habit against plaque and bad breath, added to food rather than chewed.
Pros and cons
- Kelp taste is a dealbreaker for some picky dogs
- No refund if a dog will not eat it
- Included scoop makes exact dosing tricky
Performance notes
The active ingredient is kelp rather than an abrasive chew texture, so the bites do not need to be gnawed to work and can be crumbled into food. The scoop measures a daily amount rather than a fixed single treat, which a few buyers found less precise than expected.
