Overview
Listed under Tools > Punches, the Mason 250FT-001 carries a length spec of 76.2 meters, about 250 feet, which lines up with the 250FT in its model number far better than with a handheld punch tool.
A punch is typically measured in inches, not hundreds of feet, so the single length spec here points to a reel style product such as a tape or fish tape rather than a striking tool. Amazon's data does not name the exact tool type beyond that length and a pieces count of one, so the category label should be read with caution.
- 76.2 meter (about 250 foot) length spec
- Single piece count
- Mason brand, model 250FT-001
Who it's for
Useful mainly as a reference for buyers who already know they want a roughly 250 foot reel product from the Mason line, since the listing does not confirm what the tool physically does. Not a safe pick for anyone shopping specifically for a hand punch, given the length spec contradicts that category.
Pros and cons
- Model number and length spec are internally consistent
- Category label does not match the length spec
- No material or gauge details listed
- Actual tool type is unconfirmed
Performance notes
The only spec on file is a length of 76.2 meters, matched with a pieces count of one. That length is consistent with a wound reel product, not a striking tool, but the listing offers nothing on material, gauge or housing to confirm which reel product this is. Buyers should treat the category and title's tool-type wording as unverified and check the product images directly.
