Overview
A 90oz (2.7L) glass water fountain for cats, dogs and small animals, with a borosilicate glass fountainhead, soda-lime glass bowl, and a two-stage carbon and particle filter.
Most fountains at this price are plastic; this one swaps in dishwasher-safe glass for the parts pets actually drink from, paired with a corded pump offering three flow levels and a spare fountainhead tube for continuous use while cleaning the other.
- Glass fountainhead and bowl
- Carbon plus particle filtration
- 3 adjustable flow levels
- Spare tube and silicone light cover included
Who it's for
Multi-pet or single-pet households that want glass over plastic and don't mind a corded, plug-in fountain. Not suited to owners who need a battery or cordless design for travel.
Pros and cons
- Glass fountainhead and bowl are dishwasher safe
- Three adjustable flow levels
- Two-stage carbon and particle filtration
- 1-year manufacturer warranty
- Corded electric, not battery powered
- Glass construction adds weight versus plastic fountains
Performance notes
The SMA-800 pump runs three flow intensities using included low and medium flow reducers, feeding water through a carbon filter and separate particle filter before it reaches the glass bowl. A silicone light cover lets you dim the built-in light, and a spare fountainhead tube means one can be cleaned while the other stays in use.
