Overview
The Apauk 108oz stainless steel pet fountain is a corded electric water fountain for cats and small dogs, holding 3.2 liters and including two filters and two sponges. It suits multi-pet homes wanting a stainless bowl instead of plastic or ceramic.
Stainless steel construction like this tends to resist the buildup that plastic fountains develop over time, and the two included filter and sponge sets give a couple of replacement cycles before a separate purchase is needed. It runs on corded 5 volt power rather than battery, so placement is limited to a spot near an outlet. The blue light listed as controllable is a visual extra rather than a functional feature.
- 108 oz / 3.2 liter capacity
- Stainless steel construction
- Corded electric, 5 volt
- Includes 2 filters and 2 sponges
Who it's for
Works for cat and small dog households that want a larger capacity, easy to clean stainless fountain and don't mind keeping it near a power outlet. Not built for large dogs given the small breed sizing listed, and not for owners who need a cordless option.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel bowl resists buildup better than plastic
- 3.2 liter capacity suits multi-cat households
- Includes two spare filters and two sponges
- Dishwasher safe parts for easier cleaning
- Corded design ties placement to a power outlet
- Listed for small dog breed sizes only
- Blue light is a cosmetic extra, not functional
Performance notes
As a corded electric fountain, it needs to stay plugged in near an outlet, and the stainless bowl plus dishwasher safe components make routine cleaning more straightforward than fountains with hard to reach plastic parts. The 3.2 liter capacity and included spare filters and sponges extend the time between refills and part changes.
