Overview
A 30 count bag of apple flavored dental chew sticks sized for small breed dogs, formulated with chicken and thyme to help reduce plaque and tartar buildup during daily chewing.
These sticks use raised scrubbing ridges rather than a smooth surface, since the mechanical action against teeth as the dog chews is what does the plaque work rather than flavoring alone. They are sized specifically for small breeds, so owners of medium or large dogs should look at a different size. The limited ingredient formula limits potential allergen exposure for sensitive dogs.
- 30 chews per bag, apple and chicken flavor
- Ridged texture designed to scrub teeth
- Chicken, thyme and vitamin C ingredients
- Sized for small breed dogs only
Who it's for
Owners of small breed dogs who want a daily dental chew rather than a supplement or brushing routine. Not a fit for larger dogs, and not a substitute for veterinary dental cleaning if tartar is already established.
Pros and cons
- Sized specifically for small breed dogs
- Limited ingredient recipe for sensitive dogs
- Chicken flavor with breath freshening thyme
- Apple and chicken only, no flavor choice
- Chews add calories to a small dog's diet
- Only fits small breed sizing
Performance notes
The ridged stick texture is designed to scrape against tooth surfaces as the dog chews, with a shape meant to encourage a full chewing session rather than fast swallowing. Chicken and thyme are included for flavor and breath freshening alongside the mechanical cleaning action.
