Overview
Jeffers Pet's Vanilla Walnut shampoo is a conditioning wash for both dogs and cats, built on a coconut-based, soap-free formula with walnut oil, vanilla extract and vitamins A, D and E. It comes in a 17 oz bottle, model TZJ5.
The formula is exfoliating, using ground walnut as a mild abrasive alongside vanilla extract for scent, and is concentrated so it can be diluted rather than used at full strength on every wash. It is listed under Amazon's cat shampoo category, but the product itself is labeled for dogs and cats.
- 17 oz bottle, model TZJ5
- Walnut oil and vanilla extract
- Vitamins A, D and E added
- Soap-free, concentrated formula
Who it's for
Suits owners bathing dogs or cats who want a soap-free, exfoliating shampoo rather than a basic cleanser. Not the choice for anyone needing a medicated or flea-specific formula, since none is indicated here.
Pros and cons
- Soap-free, coconut-based formula
- Concentrated, so it can be diluted for multiple washes
- Formulated for both dogs and cats
- No medicated or flea-control properties indicated
- Vanilla scent may not suit fragrance-sensitive pets
Performance notes
The coconut-based, soap-free base is paired with walnut oil for exfoliation and vitamins A, D and E for coat conditioning, and the concentrated formula is meant to be diluted to stretch the 17 oz bottle across multiple baths.
