More from this brandAll Ab exercise wheelsOverview
An ab wheel with a slightly rounded, 1.97 inch wide roller and a steel core rated to support up to 500 lbs. The handles are covered in EVA rubber with finger grooves, and the wheel has a textured, non slip surface.
The rounded roller profile is the notable design choice here versus a flat wheel ab roller, meant to add lateral instability for more advanced core work rather than just rolling straight forward and back. It arrives partially assembled, needing only the handles attached before use.
- 1.97 inch wide rounded wheel
- Textured, non slip wheel surface
- EVA rubber handle padding
- Ships partially assembled
Who it's for
Suits people past the beginner stage of core training who want added instability from a rounded wheel. Less suited to true beginners, who should build core strength on a standard flat wheel roller first.
Pros and cons
- Rounded wheel adds instability for advanced training
- Steel core rated to 500 lbs
- Padded handles with finger grooves
- Rounded profile is harder to control than a flat wheel, less ideal for beginners
Performance notes
The rounded wheel profile adds side to side instability compared with a flat ab wheel, which increases the core and shoulder demand during rollouts. A steel core inside the wheel is rated to 500 lbs, and the handles use EVA rubber with finger grooves for grip during extended sets.
