Overview
Yuanzimoo's 12x42 binocular pair targets general outdoor use, bundled with a phone adapter for shooting photos and video through the lenses. It is positioned as an affordable option for birding, hunting, travel and event use rather than a specialist optic.
42mm objective lenses and BAK4 prisms are the features doing the work for low light viewing at dawn or dusk, and the fold up compact design keeps the pair pocketable when the case or phone adapter is not in use. Buyers should expect a budget level optic rather than a premium one at this size and price.
- 12x magnification, 42mm objective lens
- 383 ft field of view at 1000 yards
- BAK4 prisms with multi coated optics
- Included phone adapter for photos and video
Who it's for
Casual birders, hunters, cruise travelers and event goers who want a capable general purpose binocular without paying for a high end optic are the best fit. It is less suited to serious birders or hunters who need edge to edge sharpness or a fast focus wheel for tracking fast moving subjects.
Pros and cons
- Includes case, lens covers, strap and phone adapter
- Holds up well for hunting and bird watching
- Phone adapter takes time and patience to align
- Easier to attach the phone adapter with two people
