Overview
The Vortex Triumph HD is a full size 12x50 binocular with an HD optical system and fully multi coated lenses, built for hunters, hikers and wildlife watchers who need a durable, tripod ready glass.
Nitrogen purging makes it waterproof and fogproof, and the polycarbonate chassis with full rubber armor adds shock resistance and grip. An adjustable diopter and rubber eyecups let each user dial in focus, and it ships with a neck strap plus a GlassPak harness for hands free carry. Vortex backs it with an unlimited, unconditional VIP warranty that covers damage or defects but not loss, theft or deliberate damage.
- 12x magnification with 50mm objective lenses
- Nitrogen purged for waterproof, fogproof performance
- Tripod adaptable with adjustable diopter and eyecups
- Unlimited, unconditional, transferable VIP warranty
Who it's for
This suits hunters, hikers, birdwatchers and anyone viewing wildlife or the night sky who wants a full size binocular built to take a drop. Anyone who wants the smallest, lightest binocular to carry all day should look at a compact model instead, since 12x50 glass is bigger by design.
Pros and cons
- Sharp, bright image in low light
- Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof housing
- Backed by an unlimited transferable warranty
- Includes GlassPak harness and neck strap
Performance notes
Being tripod adaptable helps steady the view at 12x magnification for longer observation sessions, and the nitrogen purged, rubber armored housing is built to survive drops and wet weather rather than just resist them on paper.
