Overview
Pets Alive by ZURU turns a puppy plush into a mermaid with the Furmaids line: a soft cotton plush with a sequined tail, lights and tropical music. It arrives in a shakeable capsule with a snow globe effect and a pile of surprises to unbox.
The unboxing and the dance-along lights and sounds are the reasons to buy for young collectors. It has electronics inside, so it is not a bath toy, and care instructions are not listed.
Who it's for
Preschoolers and early grade kids who like music, lights and collectible surprises fit here. Families wanting a plain washable cuddle toy should choose a non-electronic plush.
Pros and cons
- Lights and dance music
- Many surprises to unbox
- Snow globe capsule
- Sequined mermaid tail
- Electronics limit cleaning
- Small plush size
- Care instructions not listed
Performance notes
Batteries power the lights and tropical tunes, so play centers on the music and dancing. The capsule is part of the reveal, with a snow globe effect when shaken.
