Overview
Plugging a piezo pickup into an amp is possible on this sapele banjo, which comes in a full kit. A gig bag, strap, picks, tuner, wall holder and spare string sets are listed.
A beginner gets every accessory in one box, and the pickup adds an amplified option. The kit lists both steel and nylon spare sets, yet the banjo is described around nylon strings.
Who it's for
Adults and teens starting banjo get a warm, mellow tone and a pickup for amplified practice. Players after a bright steel-string bluegrass sound should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Piezo pickup and 1/4 inch jack
- Gig bag and strap included
- Two sets of finger picks
- E-tuner and wrenches included

Performance notes
Nylon strings give the warm, mellow tone listed, and the piezo pickup turns string and body vibration into an amp signal. The included tuner and wrenches support setup and adjustment.
