Overview
Heat warms the wax inside this large lamp until it breaks free and drifts in slow, looping shapes through the liquid. Orange wax and purple liquid give it the Vivid Twilight look.
The slow motion and strong color pairing make it a conversation piece for a shelf or desk, and setup is just plugging it in. The listing gives no run-time guidance, bulb size or dimensions beyond the height.
Who it's for
Collectors, gift buyers and anyone who likes retro room decor will enjoy the effect. People who need practical task lighting or a stated warm-up time should look at ordinary lamps.
Pros and cons
- Classic lava lamp motion
- Large size, tall body
- Orange and purple color scheme
- Plug in and enjoy
- Bulb wattage not listed
- Warm-up time not listed
- Base dimensions not listed
- Weight not listed
Performance notes
The wax has to warm before it moves, so the lamp needs time after being plugged in before the flow begins. Once the wax is hot it rises and falls in slow cycles. Placing it on a stable surface away from drafts helps the movement stay smooth.
