Overview
Schwinn makes this pair of resin pedals as a straightforward replacement. Molded pegs on the surface give the shoe grip, and reflectors add visibility from the side.
The thread listing covers both common crank sizes, so one pair serves most bikes. Installation is described as easy. The listing does not explain how the two thread sizes are handled.
Who it's for
Casual riders swapping out cracked or missing pedals suit this pair. Performance riders after clip-in or metal pedals should choose a different type.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight resin body
- Molded pegs for grip
- Fits most bikes
- Set of two
- Basic resin, not metal
- Thread handling not explained
Performance notes
The molded pegs grip the sole of the shoe, and the resin body holds the weight down. Reflectors catch headlights when the pedals sweep past.
