Overview
A self-cleaning litter box for cats from PETKIT, built with a 210 degree wide-angle camera, facial recognition and 5G WiFi app control, sized extra large with an ABS plastic housing and a two-year warranty.
The camera and facial recognition system is meant to track individual cats in multi-cat homes and log waste habits through the app rather than just automate scooping. At roughly 27 by 22 by 25 inches and 24 lbs, it's built at extra-large scale, sized for larger cats or households wanting more room in the litter chamber.
- 210 degree wide-angle AI camera
- 5G WiFi app control
- Extra large ABS plastic housing
- 2 year warranty
Who it's for
Suits owners who want automated cleaning paired with app-based health monitoring, particularly in multi-cat households where facial recognition helps separate each cat's data. Less suited to owners who want a simple mechanical litter box without WiFi setup or an app.
Pros and cons
- Extra large opening for bigger cats
- Facial recognition tracks individual cats
- No-touch semi-automatic waste bag sealing
- 2 year warranty included
- Requires WiFi and app setup
- Large footprint at 27 by 22 by 25 inches
- 24 lb unit weight
Performance notes
The 210 degree lens and facial recognition are built to identify individual cats and log their litter box visits and waste for the app, while the self-cleaning mechanism handles scooping without manual intervention. A no-touch, semi-automatic bag-sealing feature closes off waste after each cleaning cycle.
