Overview
Not an SD-card camera you have to hike out to check, this SPYPOINT camera sends photos to the app over cellular. Two pre-activated SIM cards let it choose and switch carriers as signal changes.
Seeing photos at home means fewer visits that disturb game, and dual SIMs remove carrier guesswork. Plan details and battery type are not described in the listing.
Who it's for
Hunters and landowners scouting from home or work get remote updates and fewer trips in. Areas with no cellular coverage need a non-cellular camera instead.
Pros and cons
- Photos sent to phone, tablet or computer
- Two SIM cards, no carrier choice
- High resolution photos
- Video with sound
- Needs cell coverage
- Plan details not listed
- Battery type not stated
Performance notes
Cellular cameras spend battery on each upload, so transmission settings and signal strength affect battery life. The camera monitors network performance and can switch carriers if conditions change.
