More from this brandAll Monstrum rifle scopesOverview
Monstrum builds the Ruckus as a compact prism scope with an etched glass BDC reticle that stays visible even without illumination. Shake Awake turns the lit dot off when idle and back on when the rifle moves.
Etched reticles look sharper than red dots for shooters with astigmatism, and the drop hashmarks help at longer ranges. Exact eye relief and battery type are not listed.
Who it's for
Hunters and range shooters wanting a magnified optic that is easy to focus on get a forgiving eyebox. Shooters needing zoom for close and far targets should choose a variable scope.
Pros and cons
- Etched reticle works without power
- Shake Awake saves battery
- BDC holdover marks
- Fixed power only
- Eye relief not given in numbers
- Battery type not stated
Performance notes
A prism design etches the reticle in glass, so it holds a sharp edge and remains visible with illumination off. Shake Awake cuts power after inactivity and restores it on movement, which extends battery life.
