An officially licensed daily countdown with real variety across the 45 items, worth it for fans as long as a light-up icon needing its own batteries is expected going in.

Overview
Paladone's officially licensed Harry Potter Hogwarts advent calendar packs 45 Wizarding World items, pens to playing cards, behind 24 daily windows, plus a battery-powered Hogwarts icon light as the standout piece.
Licensing is the differentiator here: Paladone brands this as authentic Wizarding World merchandise rather than a generic movie tie-in, and backs it with plastic-free packaging as a stated sustainability detail. The light-up icon is the one item that needs extra setup, since it runs on 2 AAA batteries rather than working straight out of the box like the pens, decals and cards.
- 24 daily windows across 45 Wizarding World items
- Officially licensed Harry Potter merchandise
- Light-up Hogwarts icon needing 2 AAA batteries
- Plastic-free packaging
Who it's for
Built for Harry Potter fans wanting a themed daily countdown with a keepsake light-up piece at the center. Less suited if a working light-up item on day one without sourcing batteries matters.
Pros and cons
- Officially licensed Wizarding World merchandise
- Light-up Hogwarts icon doubles as keepsake decor
- 45 items span pens, decals, magnets, cards and a puzzle
- Icon light needs 2 AAA batteries to work
- Rating is based on a smaller 254-review sample
Performance notes
The 45 items are spread unevenly across the 24 days, ranging from a jigsaw puzzle and quiz cards to slot-together decorations, wall decals, magnets, bag clips, pens and playing cards, so no two windows repeat the same type of item. The centerpiece is a Hogwarts icon light that runs on 2 AAA batteries, meant to stay out as holiday decor once the countdown itself is finished.
