Overview
Callaway built this hybrid with an oversized head on a graphite shaft, finished with a midsize grip of synthetic rubber. It is sold in a five hybrid configuration and ships with a headcover.
A large head and a mid loft make a hybrid like this easy to launch from fairway or rough. The limitation is that the listing gives no description, and the warranty field is a placeholder.
Who it's for
Golfers who struggle to launch long irons from the turf will find a larger head friendly. Left-handed players, and anyone who wants maker-supplied performance claims, will find little to go on here.
Pros and cons
- Oversized head aids launch
- Regular flex suits most swings
- Midsize grip for steady hold
- Right hand only
- Warranty not listed
- Shaft length not described
Performance notes
A big hybrid head moves weight toward the edges, so off-center strikes still launch with decent speed. Regular flex graphite bends under load and returns at a moderate rate, which suits average swing speeds.
