Overview
Rife built the RX7 All True as a full set of hybrid utility irons, from the four iron through the sand wedge. Graphite shafts, textured synthetic rubber grips and hybrid heads aim at easy launch for mature golfers.
Hybrid heads trade the thin blade of a traditional iron for a wider body that forgives mis-hits. A senior flex shaft suits slower swing speeds. The listing gives one loft and one length, so individual club specs need checking.
Who it's for
Mature players seeking easy launch and a full set in one purchase are the target. Low handicappers who want workable blades should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Full set of eight clubs
- Senior flex graphite shafts
- High forgiveness hybrid heads
- Textured standard grips
- Per-club loft and length not given
Performance notes
A hybrid head's wide sole and low center of gravity help launch the ball with less effort. Lighter graphite shafts with senior flex load easily at slower swing speeds, and the textured grip adds hold.
