Overview
A compact 5-in-1 fishing tool combining line cutters, crimpers, split ring pliers and a hook remover in an aluminum body weighing about 1oz. It ships with a 33.5 inch retractor so it can clip to a vest, belt or tackle bag.
FLISSA builds this around portability rather than raw leverage, at just 3.4 by 1.8 inches with a finger hole so it can hang ready on one hand while tying knots.
- 5 functions: cut, crimp, open split rings, dehook
- Aluminum body, about 1oz
- 33.5 inch nylon retractor included
- 3.4 x 1.8 inch compact size
Who it's for
Best suited to anglers who want a lightweight clip-on tool for cutting line and occasional hook removal on small to mid sized fish. It is not a fit for anyone planning to lean on it heavily for split ring work or needing a firm grip on larger, moving fish.
Pros and cons
- Tungsten carbide blades cut cleanly
- Retractor keeps it clipped and within reach
- Finger hole allows one-handed use
- Limited leverage on larger fish
- Split ring function wears quickly
- Carbide cutter can prevent full closure
