Overview
This LeeKooLuu kit pairs a 7 inch wireless monitor with a rear camera rated for 1080p video, night vision and a 150 degree viewing angle, aimed at trucks, trailers and tow vehicles. It is pre-paired out of the box and can run a second camera in split-screen mode.
It is rated IP69 for weatherproofing and built for a wide temperature range, which matters for a camera left exposed year round on a trailer or truck bed.
- 1080p camera with 150 degree wide view and night vision
- 7 inch wireless monitor, pre-paired
- IP69 waterproof rating, -22F to 176F range
- Split-screen support for a second camera
Who it's for
Fits truck and trailer owners who want a large 7 inch screen and are comfortable running thin power wiring to a reverse light or a 12-volt source, including on tow setups and small trailers. Less suited to a buyer who cannot tolerate any risk of a wireless dropout, since one reviewer's signal failed after a full wiring install.
Pros and cons
- One reviewer lost all signal after completing the wired install
- Thin power wires are hard to strip with standard wire strippers
- Suction cup mount described as weak by at least one reviewer
- Running it wired to be always-on can drain the vehicle battery
Performance notes
Night vision kicks in automatically in low light, and the system supports a second camera with split-screen viewing switched by a single button.
