Rugxara Vintage Boho Washable Area Rug 5x7

Overview

This Rugxara rug measures 5x7 feet in a taupe and grey boho print, floral and geometric patterns over a faux wool surface about 0.31 inches thick. A TPE non-slip layer on the underside and machine-washable fabric round out the build.

Low pile is the defining trait: at roughly a third of an inch, the rug is thin enough to pass under doors and furniture that a plush rug would catch on, and the seller notes it lets a robot vacuum cross without getting stuck. Expect it to arrive folded, with creases the seller says work themselves out within a few days of being unrolled and walked on.

• 5x7 size, 0.31 inch low pile
• Taupe/grey boho floral and geometric print
• TPE non-slip rubber backing
• Machine washable faux wool

Who it's for

Bedrooms, dorms, dining rooms and any space with tight door or furniture clearance are where this rug makes the most sense, along with households that run a robot vacuum regularly. Anyone chasing a plush, high-pile feel should look at a thicker rug instead.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

TPE backing and a 0.31 inch faux wool pile work together here: the backing supplies grip while the thin pile keeps the rug from bunching under furniture or doors. The fabric is stain-resistant enough to wipe clean, and its low profile is also meant to avoid trapping dirt, dust or pet hair the way a thicker weave would.
