Overview
A pure isobutane fuel supply feeds the steady flame in each of these full-size BIC pocket lighters, lasting for many lights before the lighter is spent. The set comes in eight Counterculture Series designs.
Long life per lighter means fewer replacements across the house, car and camp kit. They are disposable with no refill or flame adjustment listed, and the designs are the only difference from a standard pack.
Who it's for
Regular lighter users get long-lasting spares in distinctive artwork. Those who want a windproof or refillable lighter should choose a different type.
Pros and cons
- Long life per lighter
- Steady isobutane flame
- Factory quality checks
- Distinctive collectible designs
- Disposable, not refillable
- No flame adjustment listed
- Assorted designs, not chosen
Performance notes
Flame steadiness comes from the pure isobutane fuel, which vaporizes evenly at room temperature. Cold weather lowers fuel pressure, so the flame shrinks and lighting takes longer outdoors in winter.
