Overview
Not a home theater projector first, the Caydo art projector is built for tracing designs onto walls, easels and boards. Its drawing app adds grids, rotation and sketch modes, and images arrive by QR code or USB drive.
Tools made for murals and canvas tracing set it apart from generic mini projectors. Movie playback is possible, but resolution and brightness are modest.
Who it's for
Artists, designers and hobby painters get gridded, adjustable tracing images. Movie fans should look for higher resolution and brightness.
Pros and cons
- Drawing app with grids and modes
- QR code or USB image transfer
- Auto focus and keystone
- Sealed optical core resists dust
- Native 720p resolution
- Remote batteries not included
Performance notes
Tracing accuracy depends on a square image, which auto keystone and screen fit provide before you start. Low brightness means tracing is clearest in a dim studio.
