Overview
Tuning with the included hammer, a player brings this handmade tabla pair into pitch, a wooden right-hand dayan beside a steel left-hand bayan. A gig bag, cushion and cover come with the drums for carrying and resting.
The steel bayan and sheesham dayan are traditional in a student set, and the supplied hammer and cushions cover the basics. Each drum is made by hand, so finish varies and cosmetic marks are possible.
Who it's for
A learner at home or in a class will use the set as an entry pair of drums for riyaz. Anyone who expects uniform machine-made finish should expect variation from one set to the next.
