Overview
A camera sensor built into the bridge of these polarized sunglasses records whatever you are looking at with one button press. The iVue Glide stores clips on built-in memory and can keep recording off a power bank.
Hands free point of view recording without a helmet mount makes it easy to film on the move. Battery life alone is limited, and it is not waterproof.
Who it's for
Outdoor users capturing walks, rides and events get discreet, light camera glasses. Swimmers and paddlers need a truly waterproof camera.
Pros and cons
- Very light frames
- Polarized UV400 lenses
- Large built-in memory
- Records while charging
- Short battery life
- Only light weather resistance
- Frame rate figures conflict in listing
Performance notes
Video quality comes from the Sony CMOS sensor, which helps in lower light. The wide lens captures more of the scene but follows every head turn. Plugging into a power bank extends recording beyond the internal battery.
