Overview
Recording what you see while riding, running or driving is the job of these iVue camera sunglasses, which start and stop with one button. A wide lens in the bridge captures stabilized video, and the frames buzz to confirm recording.
Glasses-mounted video sees exactly where you look, without a helmet mount or chest strap. You need to add your own memory card, and the frames are not water resistant, so rain and sweat need care.
Who it's for
Cyclists, motorcyclists, runners and drivers capture natural point of view clips with no mount. Water sports users and anyone needing prescription lenses should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Eye-level point of view
- Wide angle lens
- Vibration confirms recording
- Polarized and clear lenses included
- Memory card not included
- Not water resistant
- Battery life not listed
- Prescription lenses not offered
Performance notes
Footage tracks head movement, so electronic stabilization smooths the jitter from walking and riding. Higher frame rates make motion look fluid, while low light depends on the small sensor and lens.
