Overview
An automated self cleaning litter box from PetCove with 5GHz wifi app control, triple odor control and quiet operation rated between 35 and 42 decibels. It carries a lifetime warranty and ships with a base unit, litter drum, 25 LitterWrap liners, insert cards and a power adapter.
The quiet operation spec, 35 to 42 decibels, is unusually specific for this category and points to a motor tuned for cats that startle at louder automated boxes. A lifetime warranty on an appliance with moving parts and sensors is worth noting against the more common one or two year terms seen on similar automated litter boxes.
- Triple odor control, 35-42 dB quiet operation
- 5GHz wifi app control
- Lifetime warranty
- Includes 25 LitterWrap liners and base unit
Who it's for
Cat owners who want a quiet, app connected automated litter box backed by a long warranty, including multi cat households. Less suited to owners without reliable 5GHz wifi, since the app requires that specific band.
Pros and cons
- Quiet operation rated 35 to 42 decibels
- 5GHz wifi app control
- Lifetime warranty on the unit
- Weight capacity up to 20 pounds, rated for multiple cats
- Requires a 5GHz wifi network specifically, not 2.4GHz
- LitterWrap liners are a recurring consumable cost
- 20 pound weight capacity may not suit larger cats
Performance notes
Triple odor control and the advanced safety sensors work together during the automated cleaning cycle, while the 35 to 42 decibel rating keeps operation quieter than many self cleaning boxes. The included LitterWrap liners are a consumable, so ongoing costs depend on how often the household replaces them.
