More from this brandAll Burris rifle scopesOverview
The Burris Fullfield 4-16x50 PA SC is a 4x zoom riflescope built from a single piece of aluminum with a Ballistic Plex reticle and multi-coated lenses, aimed at general hunting and target use.
Burris positions the Fullfield line as a value option that still uses metal-on-metal turret components and a double spring system rather than cheaper plastic internals. There is no seller description or review data available for this specific listing, so the following is drawn entirely from the published specifications.
- 4-16x50 magnification with a 4x zoom system
- Ballistic Plex reticle, non-illuminated
- Fixed parallax focus with standard capped knobs
- Burris Forever Warranty, transferable to future owners
Who it's for
Fits hunters who want a mid-range magnification scope with a Ballistic Plex reticle and a fixed parallax setting for simplicity. Less suited to shooters who specifically need adjustable parallax or an illuminated reticle, since this configuration ships without either.
Pros and cons
- Single-piece aluminum construction with metal-on-metal turret parts
- Ballistic Plex reticle for straightforward field aiming
- Backed by the transferable Burris Forever Warranty
- Compatible with Burris Knob Synergy upgrades if more precision is wanted later
- Fixed parallax focus rather than an adjustable setting
Performance notes
The 4x zoom range gives a wide field of view at close power and better precision at the top end, and Burris's multi-coated lenses are meant to hold brightness in dim conditions. This particular configuration has a fixed parallax focus and a standard capped knob rather than the adjustable or ballistic knob options Burris also sells, so it is set up for straightforward field use rather than long-range dialing.
