Overview
The Elite Gourmet ESI2215P shaves cubed or bagged ice into snow cones, slushies and boba-style drinks, with an included ice mold, reusable snow cone holder and stainless steel shaving blade.
This is a shaving machine rather than an ice-cube maker, so it needs a separate ice source, either standard ice cubes, bagged ice, or the included mold for pre-shaped pucks. That flexibility on ice input is the main functional detail buyers should note before assuming it makes its own ice.
- Stainless steel shaving blade
- Works with cubed, bagged or molded ice
- Reusable snow cone and holder included
- Makes slushies, boba drinks and margaritas as well as snow cones
Who it's for
Suits households wanting snow cones, slushies or frozen drinks for parties, barbecues or kids' summer activities. Not suited to anyone expecting the unit to freeze its own ice, since it shaves ice supplied separately.
Pros and cons
- Works with cubed ice, bagged ice or the included ice mold pucks
- Reusable snow cone with holder for repeat use
- Stainless steel shaving blade
- Requires a separate ice source rather than making its own ice
Performance notes
The stainless steel blade shaves standard ice cubes, bagged ice or frozen juice into fine ice for snow cones or slushies, with the included holder catching roughly two cups of shaved ice per reusable cone. The ice mold lets buyers freeze pucks sized to the machine ahead of time.
